Communications for Development was established by Marcie Shaoul in 2013 after she and several others decided there was a gap in the market for good multi-stakeholder advice. By multi-stakeholder we mean the government, private sector, NGO triangle that exists at the heart of many international issues. The team, led by Marcie, has decades of experience within international development, risk assessment and crisis communications. We want to help facilitate your work, help manage your issues, get your messages heard by your stakeholders and more. We work internationally and flexibly to fit in with your needs.
Is a communications expert with lots of strategic thinking, issue and crisis management and solution based risk assessment experience at a multi-sectoral level. She has led international trainings to increase communications capacity of regional NGOs (West Africa, East Africa, India, South Pacific) and organised and facilitated international governmental conferences that enabled governments and civil society and private sector to find ways forward through the issues that affect them all.
